Dez “The Technician” Lucas
Dez is Team Go Get It’s first professional boxer. He is “The Technician” because of the perfection of his jab - which sounds like cannon when he hits the heavy bag.
He is managed by Don Somerville, promoted by Marty Shuler Promotions llc and trained by Rich Snr from Team Go Get It. Dez turned pro in the summer of 2019 and won his first fight in December 2019. Many more opportunities will follow for Dez.
Dez began boxing as a young boy and progressed rapidly. His work ethic and commitment to bettering his talent and conditioning is second to none. Put simply Dez puts his work in outside the ring every day.
Dez is a role model to many of us in the gym, his experience across his professional career, fighting internationally as an amateur for USA Boxing and Junior Olympic championships all come together. Equally, he is a role model in the community and takes time out of his training schedule to attend community events around the city as part of Team Go Get It’s mission to help get kids off the streets and demonstrate the benefits of a healthy and active lifestyle to our youth.
